Out of Memory error when retracting a large number (~27000) of academic articles. tomcat had 6g/300m (heap/perm) and is a 1.5.1 version. The article rdf was chunked up into 100 articles per RDF file (about 5500 triples / file)

Description

tomcat on vivo-dev.library.cornell.edu; vivo 1.5.1 6g/300m
mysql on vivo-devdb.library.cornell.edu
rdftool running on bailey making retraction request for 270+ rdf/xml files each containing about 5500 triples

The process feeding retraction requests to vivo made 151 requests for which there was a response. For file 152 there was no response and 'top' did not show tomcat as being busy. 'top' on the database vm did not show mysql as being busy. Total time about 3 - 4 hrs. I checked file 78 to see if anything was actually retracted and found that the ones I tried were not

When tried on a 1.5.1 vivo clone on bailey with 16g/1g (heap/perm) the process completed in 33 minutes
